Which vehicles
The Land Cruiser and the Defender are two of the most established 4x4s in the world, and they get used the way they were meant to be. Working on two platforms keeps the focus narrow enough to get every part right before moving on to the next one.

Long before any of this was a business, it was just the thing I spent my weekends on. The vehicles, the trips, and everything that comes with getting properly off the beaten track.
A background in metal fabrication meant I understood how these parts come together, and I wanted to see what I could make myself. The first thing I built was for my own 4x4.
That is how SilverBack started, and it is still how it works. Every part gets designed from scratch for one specific vehicle, then cut, bent and finished in Belgium.
